In 2017, we kept asking ourselves: How can we best contribute to the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals? We joined forces —a motion designer, an engineer and a public health scientist—and came up with the answer: Madeclear.
There are many amazing research projects tackling the climate, biodiversity and health crises, but finding solutions is not the bottom line. Applying the findings to the real world can be just as challenging and often demonstrates the infamous gap between science and practice.
Madeclear aims to be the bridge over this gap. By helping universities, NGOs and singularly great minds we try to bring science and a sustainable future closer together.
Our studio is located in Copenhagen, right next to Rådhuspladsen.

As a company, we strive to minimize the footprint we leave on our planet. With the UN’s global goals as a guide, we formulated our own internal strategy and revised our business activities in relation to the goals and areas of sustainability. This has not only opened our eyes and affected the way we run this company, but has also served as a means to inspire our clients and collaborators.
