HBSC is a WHO-collaborative, cross-national survey that maps the lifestyles and health conditions of children. In Denmark, the collection of data is carried out by the National Institute for Public Health. They contacted us to make onboarding material for Danish primary schools, and to get pupils to answer a set of health-related questions. To communicate HSBC’s mission and its implications, we produced 3 different versions of a video, which respectively target schools, parents and the children themselves.
Atlas and safari analogies helped to make some abstract ideas more visual and delivered grown-up content in an easier-to-digest format. To make sure we didn’t miss the mark, we tailored our approach in consultation with teachers and children in focus groups.
“It has been a great pleasure collaborating with Madeclear to make 3 informative and graphically stunning videos. Madeclear works very creatively visually to find ways to disseminate large amounts of data and transform them into easy-to-understand narratives with supporting graphics. The team is friendly and professional to collaborate with and have patiently listened to and accommodated our requests through the process. If we need more videos in the future, we know where to go. A big recommendation from us!”
