When a child is facing mental health challenges, they need extra support. But for parents, it can be difficult to know how to help in the best way.
That’s why the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Center in the Capital Region of Denmark reached out to us. Together, we developed 19 short videos — which you can watch by clicking here — that provide parents with practical knowledge and tools to create a safe and supportive environment for their child.
The videos cover a range of diagnoses and situations — from OCD and autism to sleep habits and substance use. Relevant videos are sent to parents shortly after their child receives a diagnosis, helping them quickly understand what they can do to support their child.
